This elegant floor lamp was produced in Sweden in the late 1940s. The lamp is made of solid teak wood, with a warm and attractive grain. The design consists of slightly raised base in a rounded rectangular shape. Central stem in a tapered shape and column detail at the bottom. The two outward bending brass arms meet in the middle. The cone shaped shades have been renewed in an ivory, linen textured fabric which offers a pleasant and soft light distribution. A striking and refined example of the lighting designs in the Swedish Modern era.
The lamp is in very good condition, the wood and brass with a natural and warm patina. The shades have been renewed. Currently with a 220V European plug.
