This striking pendant light was produced in Sweden in the early 1930s. The round, sphere shaped glass shade is beautifully marbled in soft yellow and brown hues. The shade itself is textured with a ribbed motif, with the vertical grooves meeting at the top and bottom of the shade. The combination of the marbled and reeded features creates a beautiful, three-dimensional effect, both with the light switched on and off.

The shade is attached to the fixture in glossy nickel, with a beautiful patina. The bell shaped canopy and pendant holder add to the elegance of the design. The short stem could be replaced by a longer stem if required.

The lamp is in very good original condition, the glass without any damages and the nickel with a natural, even patina.
