This rare five arm chandelier was produced by ASEA in Sweden in the early 1950s. The lamp consists of a brass stem, five arms and fittings with matte opaline glass shades. The zigzag edges of the fittings and the decorative brass crown detail in the middle are characteristic for the work of Hans Bergström. A very striking and elegant example of Swedish Modern lighting.

The lamp is in very good original condition, the brass with a natural patina. Recently rewired to EU standards. The chandelier uses 5 bulbs with a regular E26/27 fitting, recommended maximum wattage per bulb is 40W or the equivalent in LED.
