This striking floor lamp was designed by Anders Pehrson, the head of design at Atelje Lyktan in Ahus, Sweden. The model is named Bumling and was produced in 1968. It’s part of the Bumling series, consisting of different models but always with the same distinct shade. It’s the most iconic lamp designed by Pehrson for Atelje Lyktan.
The design is marked by two seperate brass shades, which are fully adjustable into different positions with the goosenecks. The elegant tubular base and rod are in brass, with a built-in switch button attached to the rod.
The lamp is in very good original condition with minor wear and a beautiful patina consistent with age and use. The lamp is currently wired with a 220V European plug and is fully functioning.
