This rare geometric dining table was produced in France in the 1960s. The striking design is marked by the triangular shape of the top and frame. The table is entirely executed in a solid blonde oak wood. The top rests on three legs which are connected by three beam style stretcher meeting in the middle of the table.
The triangular shape of the design is a nod to the architectural roots of Brutalism and gives the table a visually attractive appearance from all angles. This particular Brutalist style is characterful and sturdy, with the light oak wood adding to a more organic, unadorned feeling.
This substantial and well constructed table is in very good original condition.
