This sculptural armchair was designed and produced by a master cabinetmaker in Denmark in the early 1950s. The beautifully sculpted solid oak arms create a striking, organic silhouette. The slightly curved, buttoned backrest and the comfortable rounded seat add to the elegance of the design. This refined example of the Danish Modern era is visually attractive from all angles, making it the perfect chair for central placement in a space.
The wood has been carefully restored, preservering the beautiful patina and is in very good condition. The upholstery has been renewed in a white very soft, teddy like bouclé fabric.
