This striking floor lamp was manufactured by the company AB Armaturhantverk in Gothenburg, Sweden. The model is numbered 125 and was produced in the early 1950s. The design is marked by the centrally placed lantern style shade mounted on a brass frame. The black lacquered metal shade with vertical perforations on the bottom which creates a wonderful effect when the light is on. Shade is attached to a brass holder with a switch button. The shade can be adjusted into different positions, making this a great reading light too. The middle brass tubular frame is mounted on a central stem, again in black lacquered metal. The disc shaped base with a brass ring detail completes the design.

The lamp is in good, fully original condition. It takes one standard E26/E27 bulb, maximum wattage is 40W or the equivalent in LED. Currently wired with a 220V European plug.
