This rare lounge chair was designed by Poul M. Volther in 1954. This particular model J 58 was produced by the Danish manufacturer FDB Møbler for a short period of time in the 1950s. The striking frame of the easy chair is made of natural lacquered solid beech wood. The slanted design is formed by the six slats forming front legs, the slatted backrest and the flax webbing of the seat. The loose cushions have been upholstered in a playful leopard patterned fabric.
