This rare armchair was designed by Pier Luigi Colli and manufactured by his Turin workshop Colli in 1947. The sophisticated design was numbered model 505. The striking curved armrests and legs are in solid walnut. The chair has been fully reconditioned and newly upholstered in a green Pierre Frey ‘Malou’ Fabric. Woven by the Pierre Frey workshops in Northern France, this bouclé like tweed fabric combines alpaca, wool and mohair for a refined and contemporary look. The upholstery is finished with a matching green single piping by Les Passementeries de L’île de France, emphasizing the elegant shape of the chair.
