This rare lounge chair was designed by Gösta Jonsson and produced in Jönköping, Sweden in the late 1940s. The beautifully curved backrest and rounded seat make this a very comfortable and embracing chair.

The chair has been fully reconditioned and newly upholstered in a sand/light beige Nobilis Paris fabric. This high quality bouclé fabric produced in France has a soft and smooth hand and gives the chair a wonderful texture. The Houlès piping detail accentuates the curved shape of the backrest and seat. The tapered legs are in solid beechwood and have been restored, preserving the original patina.
