This rare lounge chair was designed by Gösta Jonsson and produced in Jönköping, Sweden in the late 1940s. The beautifully curved backrest with tufted buttons make this a very comfortable and embracing chair.

The chair retains it’s original green mohair velvet upholstery with a buttoned back and seat detail. The decorative braid trimming accentuates the curved shape of the backrest and seat. The original fabric is in good overall condition, there are some minor scratches and minor marks on the velvet. If desired, the chair can be newly upholstered according to your personal wishes. Please contact us to learn more about the possibilities.

The tapered legs are in solid beechwood and have been restored, preserving the original patina.
