This generous three-seat sofa was designed and made by the Danish master cabinetmaker Frits Henningsen in the 1940s. The mahogany frame consists of three tapered front legs, two curved back legs and wonderfully curved arms. The upholstered back and sides of the sofa display refined and sculptural lines as well, making this an elegant design which can be enjoyed from all sides. This rare five-legged sofa is a striking example of Henningsen’s extraordinary craftsmanship and his great attention to detail.
