This rare three-legged chair was produced in France in the 1950s. The sculptural frame with the slightly tilted backrest and seat is made of solid oak. The contrasting grain of the wood gives the chair a striking appearance. The chair would work well as a desk or side chair. The organic, somewhat rustic style of the design is in the style of Guillerme & Chambron, Pierre Chapo, Jean Touret among other French designers of the 1950s era.
