This rare version with armrests of the elegant Medea armchair was designed by Vittorio Nobili and produced by Fratelli Tagliabue in 1956. It is made out of a single piece of molded plywood with a walnut veneer, supported on a base of black painted metal legs. The Medea chair was awarded the prestigious Compasso d’Oro in 1956. The chair is in excellent condition and signed with the Medea stamp on the bottom.
